Week 3 Grays, Plugs & Wonders each claim share of 1st place in startling display of baseball parity (or is it parody?)

The Dorian Grays and the Plug Uglies played a classic Grays v. Plugs game in the Thursday game.
The Plugs won 6-5 on the always-exciting bases-loaded walk-off walk.
Jon Adolph went the full 7 for the Plugs to collect the win. He outdueled Mike Whately who went 6. Jay Sadowski picked up the hard-luck loss.

In Wednesday's game, the Wonderboys defeated the Phillies 5-3 in 6.  Chris Ciepiela picked up the win, allowing all three runs but leaving with the lead. Bob Prattico pitch 2 scoreless innings to nail down the save.  Miracle Max Strubel went all 6 for the Phillies.

With the Grays loss and the wins by the Wonders and the Plugs, the standings look like this:

Standingswinslosswin %GB
Dorian Grays210.667-
Wonderboys210.667-
Plug Uglies210.667-

The Grays, Wonderboys and Plugs are all jostling heading into the first turn out of the gate. Three evenly matched teams are charging forward toward the finish line. It's honest-to-goodness parity, not our usual amounts of parody.
And the Phils? If the past is predictive of the immediate future, then know that the defending league champions play the long game.  Lot of season left.
Speaking of which, here's next week's schedule. In honor of this weekend's royal wedding, we're pronouncing it the British way: "Shed-yule").
